1. The price of gas is currently $2.17 and no one talks about it?
2. The week before "my time of the month" I can eat ungodly amounts of snacks?
3. I love Taco Bell hot sauce so much?
4. People are decorating for Christmas and Thanksgiving hasn't happened yet?
5. Little kids cannot dress up like Pilgrims and Indians any more? (seriously, if you disagree with me on this one, refrain from commenting.) This one really gets under my skin. The principal that I heard "explaining" why kids cannot do it, also said that it is a new trend(currently being applied at this principals school) to no longer give kids detention because it hurts their self esteem!!! I'm not kidding, if you agree with the principal: DO NOT COMMENT!
6. Anthony are not rocket scientists and when we tried to buy the house we live in 2 years ago - were pre-qualified - and saw what our house payments were going to be - and decided NOT to buy because we know simple math and could not afford it... yet everyone is getting bailed out and still living in nice homes that were way out of their price range?
7. We reward people who are stupid and make poor decisions?
8. Stupid people are home owners we are not?
9. Every time I dress the kids up in "nice" clothes, they are filthy before we ever get to whatever event we are going to?
10. It is not 4:00 yet?

OMG, Robert and I talk about the gas prices constantly! Everytime we put gas in we call each other and say how much "it would have been a month ago!!"
How come I can eat ungodly amounts of snacks all the time then regret it the next day only to do it all over again! LOL
I LOVE taco bell Mild Sauce. Even when I order from Del Taco, I will only eat it if I have Taco Bell sauce to put on it.
I totally agree with #4 - seriously, it's stressing me out!
#5 - I'm right there with you. I swear that's probably part of the reason there is so much home-schooling going on. Let's just take away free speech too while we are at it.
I'm sorry about 6-8, it sounds like you are really frustrated - deservedly.

I just paid $1.85 for gas today! I was so excited, but of course...you don’t hear anything about it.

I'm one of those people that decorated for Christmas already. I love decorating for Christmas and since we're traveling so much this year, i wanted to enjoy them as long as I could!
I'm going to have to agree with that principle...whenever I got a detention it always hurt my self esteem:) Are these people kidding me? And these are highly educated people too! Our poor kids are going to be more messed up than we ever were
#6-#8…you took the words right out of my mouth. Bill and I talk about that daily. We were approved for a 1.5 million dollar loan in CA…could you imagine what our monthly payments would be? We’d be those getting the bailout Even now, our bank we got our mortgage from kept telling us we could “borrow” more money if we wanted to. Are they serious….that’s what gets people in trouble…borrowing more money.
I know you think differently, but you and Anthony did the right thing and are doing the right thing! You will own a home one day and it will be the BEST day of your life! It’s going to be so worth it and knowing that you did it the right way will make it all the sweeter
